It's like a CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE book in some respects, and in others, a bit like a PC adventure game, such as MYST. It blurs the line between 'book' and 'game' in a way that's truly inspiring. The artwork is attractive, and just a shade foreboding--reminiscent of Edward Gorey. Fans of fantasy series and adventure games will really treasure this one.
