It seemed flimsy, however, my 2 year old and 3 year old boys have played with it for hours with no trouble. Simple enough for the 3 year old to assemble and disassemble and flexible enough to go anyway you want. We even took it outside and set it up to run across the multi-leveled decks of their playset. We have not used the battery operated cars that came with it. They use their Matchbox cars or the Disney Pixar Cars Movie cars which are actually the perfect sizematchbox are a little small, but still work. I would have given this product five stars except for the price$49.95 was a bit steep.
