The sounds of the animals should catch his attention so he can imitate them. It didn't happen. He just like the little animals rather than the exit and entry of them (where the sounds come from). I was disappointed in that major feature of the toy. It could really be much more interactive if the sounds were loud enough for a little one to be attracted by that.
