This is one of those oh so simple but oh so fun kind of games! It is personally always my choice when I get to choose the game we will play.

A god game, well-crafted and attractive. I did, however, feel the game rules could be slightly better and more explicit e.g. it says you cannot block access but it doesn't define this - a crucial element to strategy. In all, I think the game would be enhanced with more detailed instructions.

This game was a great hit with the grandsons as well as the adults. The boys, ages 19 and 12, tried various strategies to out-maneuver each other. Some games lasted 2 minutes and some 5 minutes or more. Because the games were so short, players were eager to challenge the winner to another game immediately! The younger player did just as well as the adults!

Great fun, great game!! Our family and homeschool group loves this game for its challenge in play using strategy, similar to chess/checkers to move pawns across playing field and blocking opponents path with little walls. Dad is hooked! Recommend with more than 5 stars!

This is a nicely made game; I like the fact that the pieces and the board are all wood. My son has already developed a strategy to win almost every time.

this game works best with 3-4 players. It is fairly quick, and equally challenging for our 7 and 14 year old children as it is for us.

I teach special needs children in 4th and 5th grade. Most of my students have difficulty with reading, so it is sometimes difficult to find a game for them that is intellectually challenging, but not beyond their abilities. This game encourages them to use their brains to think and strategize. It doesn't intimidate them, because it does not expect them to be able to read. They are thrilled to be able to play the same game that adults play.
