Not a book for kids. More of an informational book, that could be useful for the gifted population. It wasn't really what I thought I was buying.

We thought it would be great for our planned 16 hours of driving to and from vacation. Many of the puzzles needed visual rather than verbal only input.

Love the challenge of the problems! It's exercise for the brain, and requires one to think outside of the box... just wonderful!

I gave this to my adult son for his birthday. He was immediately intrigued. Excellent for keeping the mind sharp...mental aerobics.

'Ages 10 and up' is not appropriate. I bought this for my bright 10 year old and decided to put it away for a year or two. She likes challenges, but this is not yet in her league.

I got the book for my daughter and she loves it. She said she tested high in the catagory that rates how you do on the questions. She would like more different book on what I bought.

The granddaughter I bought this for LOVES the book. She enjoys a challenge. Any child that enjoys pushing themselves to learn will enjoy this. It isn't available to promote the ego intellect, it is for learning. Never be afraid to challenge the mind.

This book is alot of fun. There are some catagories that you would have to be a supreme egg head to do well in, but overall worth the cost of admission.

These are better than the ACT practice books to prepare for college and beyond. It was great to have our high schooler work beyond his usual classroom work, and really be challenged!
