My grandson loves this toy! The working drill (forward and reverse) makes him feel empowered as he takes the airplane apart and rebuilds it over and over.

My son loves this airplane. He walks around with his tools and wants to fix everything now. He is always asking when he can get the tractor crane. It is a toy that really promotes problem solving and thinking skills.

What an excellent toy for ages 3 and up!!! Durable and fun!!!

We own both of these. The airplane was easy for my son to learn to build and he would awe the grandparents with his power tool abilities. The truck is a little more work and was a great follow up to the plane.

I bought this for my 4 1/2 year old nephew, hoping he would like the take-a-part aspect since he likes trains but not necessarily planes. He LOVED it!! He didn't open anything after this, it came straight out of the box and stayed in his hands all night. I did not get to see it come apart or go together again though, so I cannot comment on that aspect.

There weren't enough places for bolts - only 4-5; and one is required to put together several pieces. It's a bit of a juggle even in adult hands. I was disappointed.

Christmas present for our 4 1/2 ear old grandchild. He played with it all day. Just taking it apart and putting it together. All day! He lvoed it!

My three year old son has thoroughly enjoyed playing with this airplane. He quickly learned the order of the parts and how to change the direction of the drill. This was one of his favorite presents from Santa. His only improvement would be to make it fly.

we LOVE this toy. the only constructive criticism would be that there are no nuts and bolts that specifically require the screwdriver so my son never uses that tool...also it might have been just as cool/cooler if the tool was not powered, but a real screwdriver that they need to turn on their own. all in all a totally awesome toy that even the dad's and uncles have enjoyed playing with.

Our grandson plays with this everyday. He is thirty months old and he does it with his dad. He is able to remove the bolts by himself to take the plane apart but he works with an adult to reassemble it. It is great for a child to get a tool that he can really use on something rather than having a group of just pretend tools. The sequencing skills that are taught with this game are outstanding. It also teachers coordination and uis of your eyes and hands to take aparrt and to assemble the toy. Fantastic!

We bought this product for our 2 year old for Christmas. Not only did he love it, his 3 year old cousin loved it too. They spent Christmas fighting over who got to play with it. It is easy to take apart and put back together. The drill works well,if the screws are not real tight. I highly recommend this toy to anyone who has kids who enjoy taking things apart.

Our 6-year-old was frustrated with this at times but he did figure it out. Stopped playing with it after a few times building and re-building it.

I have not observed this toy being played with by the small boy I had it sent to, since he lives 1000 miles away from me. His father reported that it was a favorite among the many gifts he received.

My 2 1/2 year old loves this. Pieces are big enough to handle easily, and still a little challenging to get together. He can take it all apart by himself, and he loves using the included power tool, but certainly needs help to re-assemble it. It's very cool that the toy designer had the foresight to add a clutch to the power tool so that things don't get broken, BUT the clutch slips very easily and we usually have to start the screws and nuts by hand to remove them.

This has to be one of the best gifts my 4 year old grandson has EVER received. He builds it and rebuilds it and is now showing his little brother how to do it. I will definitely get him more take-a-part vehicles for his birthday.

My 3 year old enjoyed building, taking apart, and rebuilding again and again. It was a fun interactive toy with an adult since he couldn't master it by himselfyet!

While my son loves this plane, the drill is nt powerful enough to really tighten the screws. You can use the bit manually but then the drill isn't powerful enough to undo the manually tightened screws. We've also had a hard time keeping all the parts together when it is in pieces. Maybe that's just our fault but now we're missing a screw. Wish us luck finding it.

Our son, nearly 3, LOVES tools, hammers, ... anything mechanical, so this toy was a perfect fit. It provides him with a good challenge without being too difficult and generally keeps him focused and occupied for 20-30 minutes at a time. The first few times he needed help holding pieces in place (particularly the wheels), but within a week or so he was pretty much an independent builder.

My 10 yaar old son has special needs and he absolutely loves this airplane. He was able to put it together and take it apart. I think this is a quality toy that would make a wonderful gift for ages 3-6, and in a case like ours where fine motor skills are an issue.
