Bought this for my 9 yr old who is a numbers kid. I will find him playing it with it quietly on his own. My handicapped cousin who has cerebral palsy also enjoyed playing with it.

Absolutely addicting. My 5 & 7 yr. old are both learning their math facts without even trying. It's a stimulating game we all can enjoy. I'm a busy mom of 5, and especially like that we can play the game when I'm working in the kitchen, folding clothes, etc. They just bring me the game when it's my turn - only takes a minute. HIGHLY recommended.

My 7 and 11 year olds LOVE this game!! We have had the single version for 2 years and donated that version to 1st grade where the kids are loving it. The double version is just more of a challenge.

Can play so many versions of this game. When playing with my 7-year old, play by the scoring rules. Yet when his 4-year old brother, we just play the numbers and everyone has fun. The games are quick and fun so everyone wants to play again. We have even played it with just adults.

My 9 year old daughter and I love to play this game together. We played the original at a party a while ago and fell in love with it, so when I saw the double shutter game on the Mindware site, I just had to get it for her for Christmas 2008. It's fun to do alone or with someone else, and it's good for practicing math skills too.

The entire family, from grandparents down to a 6 year old enjoyed Double Shutter. The 6 year old took pride in being able to count and add up the numbers on the dice.
