The acrylic containers are much smaller than I anticipated. So small actually, that my students had a difficult time seeing the set up of the seeds in the gel. The seeds to sprout quickly though and after 14 days you have to transfer them into larger containers. The three small pots included were already too small by the end of the 14 days.

I think this was the hit of the Christmas presents. The kids love to watch the seeds sprout and grow. A thrill every day to see how much they have grown. Glad I got the refill, because they are already talking about what seeds they will sprout next.

The seeds for two sprouted beautifully - it was exciting to watch, the other never took. We purchase large pots for the rooted plants - the pots provided were too small.

Definitely lame. It took forever for these seeds to germinate. By that time, no one was interested anymore, including me. Trnasplanting them would have been messy and probably not worth the trouble.
