I would definitely NOT recommend this product. It was a huge disappointment. When we finally got it working (the first one we had didn't work at all and the company did send us out a new one right away), it still was lame. The bulb isn't bright enough to make the contellations, even in a dark room. I just threw ours away.

THE CHILD I BOUGHT THIS ITEM FOR LOVED IT!! HE WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE REALISTIC COMET MAKER. I WAS A BIT CONCERNED WITH THE PLASTIC GLOBE. IT SEEMED A BIT FLIMSEY, BUT TIME WILL TELL.

This is a great idea and we like it. But, it is rather fragile and could be broken easily. It also shows up blurry on the ceiling unless you hold it up very close to the ceiling. Another problem is a seamline in the plastic ball that makes a huge image on the ceiling cutting through many of the constellations. It's a fun idea though.

IT NEEDS TO BE HIGHER IN THE AIR TO BE READABLE ON THE CEILING OR REALY CLOSE TO A WALL. NOT OVERLY IMPRESSED.

My grandson's recent interests in planets and astronomy was enhanced with the Star Theater

Unless you have a small room without much in it to block the view on the walls, the projection isn't very clear. I was disappointed.

This is a piece of junk! It arrived broken. The cylinder portion that holds the light was cracked in half on the seam. It looked as if there may have been an attempt to repair it and resell it. The light display is okay, but certainly not worth the money!

It was perfect for the the 9 yr. old as they are studying the solar system. The 8 yr. old was not as interested, but who can compete with a WII. It would have been nicer to has the option of electrical hookup along with batteries.

We found this to be less amazing than expected. The words are difficult to read when projected on the ceiling.Do you have a celing fan in the room you plan on putting this? It will be an obstruction. We had to put it on a table in the middle of the room to see the words clearly. Not a huge hassle but more that just setting it up on the floor and letting the fun begin. I would also have liked it to come with an astological book or night sky guide to assist us in learning. We will get that on our own.

My grandson loves his new Star Theater in his space-themed bedroom and it helps him to build on his budding interest in astronomy.

On three different occasions my solar system obsessed son was given this toy as a gift. None of them worked.

I thought it was rather rinky-dink for the price. The product does not work as well as I had hoped it would.

I was concerned when my son wanted to order the Star Theater 2, I was afraid it was going to be really dimand you wouldn't be able to really see any of the constellations on the wall. I was happily surprised. It was a lot brighter than I was afraid it was going to be and he has had a great time with. I keep hearing 'Mom look at this' or 'Mom did you know ....' It has been alot of fun for him. I highly recommend it!

This requires a lot of batteries, and isn't very bright or clear. It is more complicated to use than I had thought. My son is not interested in using it for anything other than a very expensive flashlight.

We were disappointed in this product because the light is not bright enough to project the constellations etc. If it had a better light, we could really enjoy the product.

Not as good as promoted by sales person. Cheaply made.

Cheap constuction and does not deliver on promises for date and time selection. Also, most people will not have a single room in their homes that will clearly display the stars. Oh well, I have always been pleased with your other products.

I got this for my son for Christmas, he played with it the entire day. He loves it. He is facinated with the stars and always wants to go outside to look at them, what a good way to bring them indoors!!!!

My kids sit in the dark and name all the constellations. Now we have glow in the dark stars and planets hanging in the room, too. What a fun way to introduce kids to astronomy. Theylove it!

Very disapointed that the stars would only show on a white ceiling. Childs ceiling is blue and would not work on it.
